Q: Can I volunteer for the Emergency Services Department?

A. Here is a list of our open job titles and requirements. You can also stop into the ESD tent and inquire inside.

Q: Can I leave my friend at the sanctuary tent if they are having a bad trip?

A: No. ESD can be called to help evaluate an intoxicated person and give aid in a medical emergency. But at the end of the day, friends who party too hard are like M.O.O.P., You brought them in, you are responsible for taking them out.

Q:What is a FIRE LANE?

A: FIRE LANE refers to the minimum width of the road that must be maintained and clear of obstructions. This is to ensure that an emergency vehicle may move freely through the event should they be summoned. FIRE LANES must be clear to a minimum of 20 feet.

Q:I forgot my Medications at home, can ESD help?

A: ESD does not have any Medications to give out. This includes Emergency Rescue Inhalers, Epi Pens, ext.

Q: I am in need of a Doctor due to an emergency but I am afraid that I wont be allowed back in.

A: Please see the ESD Shift Lead and they will help you to understand your options.

Q: I need help with my mobility, can ESD help?

A: Lakes of Fire is pleased to offer the Mobility department for our attendees with such needs.

Q: Why do your Golf Carts have lights & sirens?

A: ESD cats act as emergency response vehicles for the event just like Fire Trucks and Ambulances. Please let ESD carts pass and do not tamper with any LoF event carts.
