DO YOU WANNA BUILD A EFFIGY?
Effigy 2025 Application Timeline
- November 1 – 15th, 2024: Phase 1 “Intent to Submit”. Deadline is 11/15.
- December 31, 2024: Phase 2 “Full Submission” deadline
- January 2025: Meetings to review applications and virtual interviews with artists. Additional information may be requested. Council will meet and select a design by the end of the month.
- Early February 2025: Artists will be notified of the council’s decision.

Digital Desires for the WWW
Did you use the Digital WWW this year while you were at Lakes? Did you ooo and ahhh over all the new shiny features? Did you also hope for one more thing that it could do? Now is your chance to let the team know what feature you think would make it even better next year. Simply fill out the form and tell us what you wish the digital www could do.
The team will be compiling requests and making a lists of new features that we will release before the 2025 event based on your feedback.
Lakes of Fire Wants You
Have you ever thought about going beyond just your volunteer shift during the burn and getting more involved in Lakes of Fire? Do you have a burning desire to put your skills to work to help put on an event you love? Do you just really want to get involved with how the sausage is made? Then we are looking for you!
Lakes of Fire is always looking for passionate people who are interested in leadership positions to join us. If that sounds like you fill out this form or feel free to reach out to a lead of a department you are interested in to find out more.
Looking for a Logo
Are you looking to put your mark on Lakes of Fire 2025 but swinging a hammer or power tools really isn’t your thing? Then you are in luck we are looking for design ideas for this years logo, wrist bands, lammies, and stickers. If you have been inspired by this year’s theme then submit your ideas before January 15, 2025.
The logo is something that is shared and used by the community as well as the org for swag and inspiration for gifts throughout the event.

As the year is winding down
a new production cycle for the Lakes of Fire team is just getting started. This means that each month there will be a increasing amount information that will be coming your way. This year we are going to be trying a few things to bring you the same information in new ways. Not to worry though the newsletter will always be your best source for up to date info.
