Infobot SWAG Job Posting

The Lakes of Fire Infobot SWAG team is looking to grow! We are seeking volunteers currently involved in the media industry or pursuing further education in the arts who want to add high-impact, real-world production experience to their professional resumes. As we expand our internal capabilities, we need a dedicated team to manage our new fleet, including the Epson SureColor T5475 36″ Wide-Format Printer and the Magicard 600 ID system.

These positions require an on-site presence starting July 10th, 2026, to manage the final production push. Most of the work involves overseeing the print queue for all internal event media, alongside specialized spot-print tasks leading up to the burn. All hours contributed to this project will count toward your volunteer hour requirements.

Whether you are a student looking to master industry-standard hardware or a seasoned pro ready to lead a production workflow, explore our open roles below:

🎨 Entry Level: Print Production Assistant

Ideal for: Current arts students or hobbyists looking to get their hands dirty with pro-grade gear.

Are you currently pursuing a degree in the arts or looking to bridge the gap between digital design and physical media? We are looking for Print Production Assistants to join the Infobot SWAG team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help transform digital files into tangible burn magic. You’ll assist with basic machine operation, material handling, and ensuring every print meets our quality standards before it hits the field.

In this role, you’ll get direct experience with our fleet of printers and assist with the finishing of wide-format projects. It’s a perfect opportunity for someone who understands the basics of the Adobe Creative Suite and wants to see how “Bleed,” “DPI,” and “CMYK” translate from the screen to the real world. You’ll be the backbone of our workflow, ensuring the shop stays organized and the output stays crisp.

We value volunteers who are passionate about the process of making. If you’re a student eager to add “Large Format Production” to your resume or a creative soul who finds peace in a perfectly trimmed edge, we want you. Come help us build the visual landscape of Lakes of Fire while gaining experience with industry-standard equipment.

🛠️ Mid-Level: Media & Output Specialist

Ideal for: Junior designers, print shop veterans, or media tech students.

If you’re already working in the media industry or are deep into your technical arts education, we need your eye for detail. As a Media & Output Specialist, you will take a lead role in operating our Epson SureColor T5475 36″ Wide-Format Printer and our Magicard 600 system. You understand that printing isn’t just “hitting P”—it’s about color profiles, substrate selection, and troubleshooting hardware on the fly.

You’ll be responsible for managing incoming orders from internal teams, ensuring that files are prepped correctly for large-format output and secure ID printing. We’re looking for someone who can navigate a print queue with ease and isn’t afraid to dive into the settings to ensure a 3-foot poster looks just as good as a 2-inch badge. Your experience with digital asset management will be key in keeping our internal “clients” happy and our waste to a minimum.

This role is perfect for those who enjoy the technical side of the creative arts. If you have experience in a professional print environment or a campus lab and want to apply those skills to a high-energy, collaborative burn environment, the Infobot SWAG team is your new home. Help us maintain the technical integrity of our department’s most ambitious projects.

🏗️ Expert Level: Print Operations Manager

Ideal for: Production managers, senior art directors, or career print professionals.

For the seasoned pros in the media industry: we need a Print Operations Manager to architect our workflow and oversee the Infobot print ecosystem. You’ve likely spent years in studios or production houses and understand that the secret to a successful build is a mix of rigorous process and creative problem-solving. You will oversee the deployment of our Epson T5475 and Magicard 600, optimizing our production schedule to meet the demands of a growing burn.

Beyond just pushing buttons, you will mentor our student volunteers and junior staff, translating complex technical requirements into actionable tasks. You’ll be the final authority on color management, equipment maintenance, and resource allocation. When a high-priority order comes in with a “weird” file format or a tight deadline, you’re the one who knows exactly how to bridge the gap between the digital vision and the mechanical reality.

We are looking for a leader who thrives in the intersection of art and logistics. If you have a professional background in media production, wide-format management, or commercial printing, your expertise will shape the future of Lakes of Fire SWAG. Join us to lead a team of talented creators and ensure our physical presence is as professional and vibrant as the community it represents.
