Lakes of Fire Lottery 2026 UNMASKED
Time to put on the lucky mask!
Tickets for Lakes of Fire 2026 are on sale now!
Ticket offers last 7 days this year. If you need more time, please reach out to tickets@lakesoffire.org BEFORE your ticket offer expires and we’ll work with you on an extension.
For those who want more
You knew something was different the moment you opened this letter. Lakes of Fire Lottery 2026 UNMASKED. The words practically leapt off the screen like they were daring you to mask up.
“Time to put on the lucky mask!” you announced to absolutely no one, except maybe the dog, who looked mildly concerned, but this was serious business. The Lottery for Lakes of Fire doesn’t have tickets that just fall from the sky—they went on sale April 20th at exactly 4:20 EST, which feels suspiciously intentional if you ask me.
You marked the date. You circled the time. You set three alarms, because you know yourself.
And then you read the fine print: ticket offers last seven days this year. Seven. Days. That’s practically a lifetime in burner-time, but still, responsibility called. They even said if you needed more time, you could reach out to tickets@lakesoffire.org before the offer expires and they’d work with you. A safety net for the chronically distracted or otherwise indisposed. Bless them.
So there you were, standing in the kitchen with your lucky mask or just your old shop goggles, but they count, feeling like a hero about to embark on a noble quest. A quest for fire. For community. For art. For questionable fashion choices and dust in places dust should never be.
And when those tickets drop, you’ll be ready.
Because this year, you want to go to Lakes of Fire.
Mask on. Alarms set. Destiny awaits.
Introducing 2026 Parking Permits, Including a Brand New Accessible Parking Area!
We are once again asking all participants to register their vehicles through Volunteeripate, and we have two parking permit options available: a General Parking Permit and our brand new Accessible Parking Permit for participants with mobility needs.
Registering your vehicle helps us plan the right kind of space for everyone at the event, and it also means our team can track you down if you accidentally leave your lights on or park in a fire lane, because it happens and we are not here to judge.
The new Accessible Parking area is an exciting addition for 2026 and we want to make sure anyone who needs it can get registered and sorted ahead of time. Head over to Volunteeripate to grab your permit, and as always, reach out to us at parking@lakesoffire.org if you have any questions!
Gate Shifts Drop April 22nd at 11:59 PM and We Are So Ready For You
Gate shifts are opening up on April 22nd at 11:59 PM and it is time to get yourself signed up and ready to be the first face our participants see when they roll into Lakes of Fire.
A heads up though, some shifts including Pre-Event Guardian, Operational Manager, and Shift Lead roles are locked to folks who have those specific roles on their Volunteeripate profile, because these are not your average shifts and we need the right people in the right seats. If you look at those roles and think “hey, that is absolutely me,” shoot us an email at gate@lakesoffire.org and we will take a look at whether your experience lines up.
If you are already rocking the Operational Manager role, we do ask that you prioritize those shifts before grabbing any of the general positions, since OMs are a rare and precious resource around here and those shifts are critical to keeping Gate running smoothly. Not sure if the OM shift times work for your schedule? Email us anyway, we are happy to chat and make it work.
See you at the Gate!

Tick Tock the Ticketing clock is running out with volunteer ticket offers expiring on April 30th and lottery ticket offers only lasting 7 days don’t sleep on buying your ticket. I hope you have begun to create all the things that always help make every year truly magical. Look forward to welcoming you to our new home soon.
If you’d like to contribute to event organization throughout the year, please apply here or reach out to a department lead. If you would like to sign up to transform this new property into our new home, then fill out this form. If you are not a skilled tradesperson, fill out the other slot and let us know what you can do.

May the spring showers foster the growth creativity for all of the wonderful things you want to bring to the burn.
