Lakes of Fire is seeking passionate and dedicated burners to join our leadership team and make a positive impact within our burn community.

JOIN THE ART GRANTS TEAM
Do have a passion for art? Do you have some experience related to working or volunteering with art-based organizations? Would you like to join the Art Grant team?
ArtHub is looking to fill two vacancies on the art grant team. Art Grant facilitators are part of the team that reviews, vets, and scores grant applications to fund new art for Lakes of Fire. The responsibilities include:
- 20+ hours reviewing all grant applications (94 applications in 2023)
- Scoring all applications with the team based on an established rubric
- Help manage a small group of chosen artists leading up to the event and check in at the event
- Writing up post-event AfterBurn reports
- Managing artist reimbursements
You will be successful in this position if you are organized and have some experience with project management. If this sounds like you then please fill out the Art Grant Facilitator application if you are interested. The bulk of our work starts very soon!

GLEA is still accepting theme concepts for Lakes of Fire 2025. We’ll keep the Idea Submission Form open until January 31st, 2024 – after that, we’ll round up the candidates and put them to the community for a good ol’-fashioned popularity contest.
